- 4 large grapefruits
- 1/2 tsp mixed essence
- 2 dashes bitters lemon lime bitter
- 1 1/2 cups water
- Sugar to taste granulated
- Peel and squeeze the grapefruits. Strain out the seeds. Be careful not to strain the pulp.
- Add sugar, essence and bitters and stir. When the sugar has dissolved pour out into a mug and serve chilled.
