Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal enriched
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup butter unsalted
- 1/4 cup sugar granulated
- 2 eggs
- 2-3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg grated
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in the spices, sugar and cornmeal. Cut softened butter into pieces, and mix well.
- Beat the eggs and add the milk and vanilla. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and mix well. Beat until fluffy.
- Pour in a greased dish and bake for about 20 minutes or until slightly brown.
