Ingredients

  • Pastry for one 9″ crust pie
  • 1 cup butter melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 oz Nestle Toll House Semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Whipped cream or ice cream

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare pastry. In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  • Add flour, sugars; beat until well blended.
  • Blend in butter. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels and walnuts.
  • Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Bake until set, about 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
