This Rum and Raisin Banana Ice Cream is another banana ice cream for all who would like ice cream made without sugar.

Rum and Raisin Banana Ice Cream

  • 2 1/2 cup ripe banana chopped and frozen
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond essence
  • 1/2 tsp coconut essence
  • 9 tbsp condensed milk or cream/ plain or flavored yogurt
  • 6 tbsp rum
  • 1 1/4 cup raisins


  • Soak the raisins in the rum overnight. Wrap and freeze the banana in plastic wrap. Unwrap frozen banana and place in a food processor or blender along with the other ingredients (except the raisins). Blend until smooth. Add the raisins and blend to chop. Freeze. Serve frozen.
