No-butter Sponge Cake
Servings: 6 (makes 1/2lb)
- 6 ounces flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 lb granulated sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. lime juice
- Sift together the flour and baking powder.
- Beat white of eggs until stiff then put yellow and teaspoon of lime juice. Beat sugar until melted. Add essence.
- Then fold in flour and baking powder. Bake for 350 degrees.
