No-butter Sponge Cake

  • 6 ounces flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 lb granulated sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lime juice


  • Sift together the flour and baking powder.
  • Beat white of eggs until stiff then put yellow and teaspoon of lime juice. Beat sugar until melted. Add essence.
  • Then fold in flour and baking powder. Bake for 350 degrees.
