Provision and Saltfish: The Best Way to Incorporate Saltfish into Your Culinary Repertoire

As an individual who frequently consumes rice, it is not unusual to sometimes feel the need for a change in diet. In such instances, provision serves as an excellent alternative. Provision is a term used to describe root crops such as yam, dasheen, eddoes, sweet potato, and crops such as green fig and plantain. These crops offer a variety of flavors, textures, and nutritional benefits that can break the monotony of rice-based meals.

It is worth noting that as the cost of rice and flour continue to rise, provision is becoming a more appealing option for many individuals. The versatility and affordability of these crops make them a popular choice for individuals who are seeking to make their meals more nutritious and budget-friendly. As such, the days of consuming provision are gradually making a comeback, and it is essential to explore the different ways in which they can be prepared to maximize their nutritional value and taste.
