Welcome to Simply Trini Cooking.Org . Your online Trini Cooking community and companion to my blog simplytrinicooking.com. So, what have I done? Well, now you can submit your very own trini or trini inspired recipes, email them to friends, rate dishes and even become a member by joining us.
To make the process a community experience, the website comes equipped with its own social networking function. You can set up your own profile page, “friend” other users, send private messages to your friends, leave comments on friend’s profile page, upload pictures and many many more.
Other than the usual recipe information, each recipe comes complete with nutrition facts. Yes, you can now check out calorie information, fat, protein and sodium content etc. of your favourite trini recipes. This was done especially for the health conscious readers.
Searching has also become easier. Recipes can be searched using the search button or by ingredients, recipe type, skill level, cuisine, course or any of the thousands of recipe tags available. Searching for trini food has never been any easier. Recipes can also be printed with ease; just click and print.
To make your stay on the site even more enriching, there’s a section on kitchen makeover tips for the D.I.Y person in mind or just for the reader who’s looking for ideas on their next kitchen renovation project.
Of course, more will be added as we go along. If you have an idea for the community I’m all ears. Just use the contact form. Or better yet, become a member of our community for free and send me a private message.
So, we invite you to join us on simplytrinicooking.org, your free Online Trini Cooking Community, as we explore Trinidad and Tobago’s rich cuisine and culture online together. See you on the inside.
